About Us

           My name is Camille and I started this company because I think that refill stores are the future and I am very passionate about helping the environment and my community. I was born and raised here in Jacksonville, Florida and I care about this city very much. My goal is to give my community an opportunity to shop plastic free and also to inspire others to do the same in the own communities. All of the products we have in the shop have been carefully chosen from other small businesses with our same mission. Our refill section is continuously growing and we will keep adding plastic alternative products.

            We know that living more consciously and low waste seems like an impossible task, but here at Max's Market we want to show you that it is possible and easier than you think. You can start with some simple swaps like a bamboo hair brush and toothbrush and then buying some of your common household products in bulk like shampoo, laundry detergent, and dish soap. Soon enough you will be living a low impact life and you will be saving money as well.
